Dear ISFBHP2019 participants,
I, as the convener, sincerely give my best thanks to
all the participants of ISFBHP2019.
ISFBHP2019 had a total of 142 participants from 17
countries for the symposium, and Acta Horticulturae, which is the
proceedings of the symposium and a peer-reviewed SCOPUS journal, has been
provided to the participants at the symposium. The symposium consisted of
3 wonderful plenary lectures, 10 fantastic keynote speeches, 17 oral
presentations, and 57 poster presentations. All the lectures and
presentation provided very valuable research information regarding recent
flower bulbs and herbaceous perennials from the world, and I am very
happy to get great success from the symposium. I was also very glad to
provide the technical tours that could provide the Korean herbaceous
perennials and ornamental plants industry along with the beautiful May in
ISFBHP2019 has been supported by several organizations
and companies, and their support made the symposium to be successful and
fruitful. I would like to provide my sincere gratitude for their support
on behalf of all the participants.
We will post more pictures during the symposium on the website soon,
and hope you can enjoy the good memory in Seoul, Korea.
Next year in Korea, The 3rd International
Symposium on Germplasm of Ornamentals (ISGO2020-Seoul) will be held at
the same venue (www.isgo2020.org,
convener: Byoung Ryong Jeong), and I would like to see you again in 2020.
This symposium could be very successful with the very
warm support of ISHS, and I would like to give my special thanks to Dr.
Margherita Beruto, Dr. Gary Chastagner, Kelly Van Dijck, and Maria
Again, thank you very much for all the ISFBHP2019
